Essential Probationary
Training Programme
( Based on NRA Modules 1 - 4 )
Designed for probationary club shooters progressing from first contact to
independent, safe shooting, resulting in a SSC card. This course takes all essential elements needed to get you from understanding the workings of a firearm, safety, and gaining confidence with the knowledge to hit the target at any distance in the first couple of shots.
Private Instruction
Personal professional firearms training
Our one-to-one firearms training is designed for shooters who want focused, individual coaching in a safe, controlled UK shooting environment. Whether you are completely new to shooting or an experienced firearm certificate holder looking to refine your skills, private instruction allows every element of the session to be tailored specifically to you.
Training is delivered in accordance with UK firearms law, range standing orders, and best practice guidance, with an uncompromising emphasis on safety, discipline, and responsible firearm handling at all times.
Extreme Long Range
1000-yard and 1-mile target experience
Our one-to-one firearms training also allows us to take you on a journey at Bisley to shoot the 1000-yard targets at the Stickledown Range. We spend time with you in the morning building up to shorter ranges, then continue in the afternoon at 1000 yards.
For the adventurous, experienced shooter, we offer a bespoke trip to Bodmin, Cornwall, staying at the famous Jamaica Inn and then spending a day shooting across the moors at targets ranging up to 1800 yards. This is with your firearm or with our Accuracy International .300 Win Mag or .338 Lapua Mag.

Long Distance Shooting Club
1760 is a rapidly growing long-distance shooting club based in the UK, with members drawn from across the UK and Europe. The club was founded by like-minded shooters who share a passion for the challenge and precision of extended-range shooting, and we meet regularly at Bisley.
Bisley is our training ground to shoot up to 1200 yards. We then travel around the UK
to ranges that enable us to shoot 1 mile and beyond.
Whether you are taking your first steps or preparing to shoot at Bisley, we'll help you do it the right way.
